Who’s Going To Stop You From Being a Successful Woman Entrepreneur?

successful business woman If you read my post about Debbi Fields Rose, founder of Mrs. Field’s Cookies, you’ll see she didn’t listen to anyone that told her “no”. Everyone told her it was a bad idea to start a cookie company (with their mouths full of her cookies!)

So who’s stopping you? Are the voices in your head telling you you’re not smart enough, good enough, “whatever” enough? Are you friends and family acting as the “dream-stealers” in your life? Who are you going to let stop you from living the life you secretly desire? Why would you listen to anyone, including those crazy voices in your head … they’re all wrong.

In my own life I’ve listened to the dream-stealers and the inner voices in my head and I’ve missed so many great opportunities, I felt great pain and remorse as I looked back and saw all that I had lost. That pain helped me to develop my present company, Girls Who Network. As I developed the seminar program, Girls Who Network Grow Rich, I found that many women dream of starting businesses and very, very few of them actually have someone that believes in them. So I developed a program that supports the dreamer in women entrepreneurs and helps the dreamers get together and get those businesses started in only 28 days!

So if you have a dream, please don’t give up…ever! And if you need someone to believe in you, just drop me a line, I’ve been there I know what it feels like. We all need someone to believe in us … so who’s the woman in your life who needs you to believe in her and her dreams? There’s another aspiring women entrepreneur out there who needs your support, when you meet her reach out and give her a hand.

    I used to listen to the dream-stealers, and I look back at what I could have accomplished it makes me sick for being so silly and thinking people always had my best interest at hand. But not anymore, I realize that if I have a dream, a strong desire, I need to make it happen. Other people do not have the same dreams and most of the them if not all of them admire you for your TENACITY, STRENGTH, and COURAGE. So listen to your dreams and go for it. You will be tested and people will try to make you think and hold back, but DON’T STOP! YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE and you were put on this earth to be happy not miserable and regretful. It’s wonderful to feel so powerful and believe no matter what anyone says and what your circumstance may be you can make it happen. SO JOIN THE GWN NETWORK YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

    No One can stop you! In fact, there is now a non-profit organization I have recently discovered to help you: SpringBoard Enterprises!

    Their mission is to expand woman-entrepreneurs access to the equity markets. Along with the Paley Center for media in NYC, SpringBoard is co-hosting a forum entitled AllThingsMedia this October. AllThingsMedia is the first-ever venture forum held exclusively for women-led entrepreneurial ventures in emerging media and entertainment.

    I just started my own business and need some advice how to be strong, every time a deal falls through I become dispondent, but something - the voice keep telling me to hang in there. This is a great website.

    This is a struggle everyone has, so you’re not alone! I still go through this too. Stay focused on your goals and keep moving forward, always keep going forward, never, never give up! You can do it, I know you can. Congratulations on taking the first step to start your business, most people don’t even get that far, so you’re already way ahead of the game.     In the past year, I have forced myself NOT to fear success. I have beaten the Fear of Success monster down. Your note today reminded me not to become complacent…I have recently found myself not being as diligent about holding this monster at bay…convincing myself that I am not as good as I think I am…envying others success, while doing nothing or little to reach my own.Today is a new day…renewed in the spirit of empowerment.
