She’s Got the Look!

What does your look say about you? Like it or not, other will pass judgment on you based solely on your appearance. As a successful woman entrepreneur, the key to success when it comes to your look is to consider your appearance part of packaging your brand.
Firstly, what you need to do is define your brand. Then, you need to decide how you will covey your message with your personal style.
Start by making a list of the emotions you want your brand to evoke. These words should help you communicate the quality of your products and/or services.
The next step is to define your target market. How does your market expect you to look? Are you conveying the right messages to your target market? A great clue is to look at how your target market packages themselves. Remember, we’re talking about your professional life, not your personal life; so if you’re comfortable in jeans and T-shirts, that’s fine–When you’re not in public. Whenever you leave the house, remember that you represent your brand. If your look makes you feel comfortable, attractive, fashionable, and above all, confident, then your overall self-confidence will soar, as will your brand.
Your packaging will convey that you are indeed a smart, savvy, and competent business woman.

This is very true. People really do judge you by your appearance. Your appearance will determine if they will trust you. For instance if you work in a bank and you are a Financial Specialist and you come to work in jeans and a t-shirt that says Hottie! (even if it’s dress down Friday) people will not take you serious. They expect to see you in a suit. Your giving the impression that you are not serious about your career. You must be on your p’s and q’s at all times especially when it comes to appearances, because you never know when an opportunity will present itself.
Yeah, appearance DOES matter. If you work in an office and if you work as a model, of course you need different clothes and make ups. Fashion is important but be careful, don’t be a fashion-victim. Being humble is also the key to get better lifestyle.
