Blog Your Way to Millions
August 21, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
Mario became a power player in the entertainment industry when he moved from New York to LA with dreams of becoming an actor. So broke that he couldn’t even pay for internet access, he hung out at coffee shops and hooked into their Wi-Fi. He started reading online blogs and thought about starting his own personal blog but thought his life was too boring. So he began torturing the rich and famous with his celebrity bashing blog that he named: PerezHilton.com.
Mario has been such a success that not only does his blog generate $54,000 PER DAY in advertising revenue, he is working with Warner Music to develop his own boutique record label, he has had TV specials, he has a syndicated radio show with ABC Radio, will be authoring a book for release in 2009 and has recently launched a clothing and accessories line with Hot Topic clothing (for girls).
He has developed a following of 8 million devoted fans! This is the power of a blog. So how can you become a millionaire blogger? Think about Mario… if he did it, so can you.
The Secret to Successful Goal Setting
August 21, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
Think about it. How inspired are you to achieve a goal if you’re not passionate about it? Are you going to have the “whatever it takes” attitude if you don’t have passion?
Probably not. And that is why most people fail to achieve their goals, because there is no passion behind them. Think about the athletes in the Olympics, how could these
remarkable individuals achieve their goals and dreams if they were not fueled by passion? They wouldn’t be able to endure the years of hard work, sacrifice and training if they weren’t
passionate would they? It seems that we see the most passionate individuals in the word of sports and entertainment.
This is one of the reasons I encourage women to start businesses that they are passionate about, because you will have challenges and obstacles that may seem insurmountable along
the way, if you’re fueled by passion you will stay the course and you won’t quit when the going gets tough.
Sure you want to make alot of money and become a Millionaire Diva, but you also want to do something each day that makes you happy and gives your life purpose. This is living
a life of passion and prosperity, and the two do go hand in hand. Let me ask you: What do you love to do? What are you good at? What do you think you were born to do? Take
some time to think about these questions and you’ll find your passion and purpose in life. Then brainstorm a little bit and you’ll be able to figure out a way to develop your passion into
a business.
My purpose statement for my life is: To inspire, educate and empower women to create a life of passion and prosperity.
Now it’s your turn, what is your purpose statement. Write it down and use it to fuel your goals. If your business is based upon your passion how could you possibly fail? You won’t.
Each and every one of you has a special “gift” to share with the world and usually you can discover your “gift” by exploring your passion. Explore your passion, define your purpose and
then take steps every single day to achieve your goals and soon you will be living your dream life … a life of passion and prosperity.
How Expensive is Your Fear?
August 15, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
How much money have you lost because of your fears? Think back over the last five years, what would you have done differently if you hadn’t been afraid? What opportunities did you allow to pass you by because of your fears? How much money could you have made if you didn’t miss those opportunities because you were afraid? How much has your fear cost you in real dollars lost for the past five years? I want you to think of a real number, figure it out, how much has your fear cost you?
Here are a few examples. If you had started a business five years ago how much money would you have made? If you had saved a dollar a day and invested it in mutual funds how much money would you have made? If you had invested in real estate how much money would you have made? As you can see fear is a very expensive habit.
So what’s going to be different about the next five years? Are you going to continue to allow fear to hold you back, are you going to allow fear to control your life and your hopes for financial freedom? What are you afraid of anyhow? You’re afraid of what other people will think about you right? Well the sad truth of the matter is … other people don’t really care about you … they are just like you, they’re more concerned about what other people are thinking about them.
So being the fabulous Diva that we all know you are, time to get working on your mindset. You need to develop the Millionaire Mindset, the unstoppable mindset, the mindset that will enable you to get past your fears and go out and do whatever it takes to live the life of your dreams. Think how much richer you’re going to be when you drop your expensive habit called: FEAR!
Be the Expert, Build a Million Dollar Empire
August 15, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
Becoming the recognized expert in your field has less to do with your expertise and more about your ability to market yourself. How many brilliant experts have you met in a particular field that are relatively unknown and definitely not rich? They are not known as the leading expert in their market.
The leading expert in their market is probably not the most experienced or most knowledgeable person in that field. But the leading expert knew how to create their expert status through the efforts of good marketing.
Imagine what it would be like to be the leading expert in your field, selling your expertise to clients all over the world. You could package your expertise and knowledge in the form of books, audios, teleseminars, online courses, coaching programs, you have a wide variety of choices. Packaging and marketing your expertise in this manner will take you to Leading Expert status faster than any other way.
Creating information products will also provide you incredible income, many “experts” are developing multi-million dollar empires using this strategy. And you have the opportunity to share your expertise with many more people than you could using the typical “dollars for hours” consulting business model. And your expertise doesn’t have to be your current profession or vocation, people will pay for your expertise in personal development, hobbies, anything where you can provide a solution to their perceived problem.
So time to start thinking. What expertise or knowledge can you use to create your empire. Every woman has some expertise that can be packaged and marketed this way and become known as the expert in her field. Make a list, include everything that you have done professionally. What are your hobbies? What are you passionate about? What “life” experiences have you gone through? What do your friends and family come to you for advice about? These are all clues as to what expertise and knowledge you can use to establish yourself as the expert in your market.
Once you’ve decided your expertise and the identity you want to present to the marketplace you can begin to develop your products and programs. You’ll then implement the marketing strategies that will position you as the expert in your field. With a little guidance and following proven marketing systems, step-by-step you can build your own Million Dollar Expert Empire.
Mom in Trouble, Can You Help?
August 7, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
What the Hell Happened?
I began researching Marketing Online and ways to make money online from home about two years ago now. Maybe not quite that.
I turned to the internet and it’s infinite vastness to earn an income as a physically handicapped individual. You wouldn’t know I was disabled unless you saw me try to walk any distance or whimper in pain at doing the silliest little things… like opening a car door, brushing my daughter’s hair, or getting the sugar down from the cupboard.
Prior to being afflicted with Fibromyalgia, I have lived the “good” life and did it SINGLE, with children. I had the car, the house, the bi-weekly trips to the coast, shopping sprees at the outlet malls. I was active, fun, caring, and above all else - a lady.
One morning I woke up, literally, to two sprained ankles. It was nearly impossible to walk. The day prior to this morning was normal. I dressed in my sweet dress, pulled up the pantyhose, added my lapel pin to my beautiful pink jacket, slipped on my high heeled shoes and burst out of the house - to drop off my baby at the sitters and make it to work Just in the Nick of time. I parked my car, I ran (in my heels) across the street and into the building. Said all my good mornings and hellos and proceeded to have my normal day at work.
So why? Why did I wake up the next morning with two sprained ankles? No one has been able to answer that for me. After two years of testing, pokes, prods, images, and med soups (that’s different combination of meds) - still no one knew what was wrong with me or how it happened. I was then labeled with Fibromyalgia and became unimportant.
It’s been a little while now and I have become accustomed to the pain as long as I don’t move much. I came online to find a way to survive and get back my dignity and my spirit. I have learned so much! I really have. I’ve been through the ringer, waded through the crap (pardon my language) and now am finally getting to the nitty gritty- to the answers and hopefully the solutions.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t regret the path I have been on. I learned my most valuable lessons along the way. And, I am sure there is still much to learn. But, just as I begin to implement and go forth with some real action… I get hit. And I mean hit hard.
Today I went to an appointment with the State of Oregon District Attorney for Family Support Division. It was so hard for me to go. I was filled with fear. My middle daughter lives with her father. She is here half the time, but she resides with him. He’s a great Dad and has gone out of his way to be one! He’s a great man. The last thing I want to do is be amiss in my responsibility to my children. I went to the appointment with a heavy heart, not knowing if they would put me in jail.
You see, now that I don’t have my nearly $2600/m job, I can’t pay the $162 I owe and I have gotten over $2000.00 behind in payments. And they want me to come up with $192/m until I am caught up or they will take away my license to drive. If they do that I can’t drive my youngest daughter to and from school. And, if I can’t manage to pay that $192 a month, starting this month, and they have to suspend my license, then comes jail time. - All this because I was struck with a disease I never heard of before.
I wish this was the only dilemma we were facing.
Two days ago, we received an eviction notice, because we couldn’t pay the remaining $260 rent for last month - or even partial rent for this month. We thought a local social agency was going to help. But they came up with a full $50 to help. I should be grateful for that. I just feel a little bitter right now.
If you know me at all, you know I don’t do any type of drugs and I don’t drink any alcohol. I don’t smoke and, really, my only vice is coffee. (Folgers ground coffee) with some creamer.
So, how did I get here? Sometimes I wonder if God backhanded me for no reason. But, since I have been online, branding myself and getting myself out there - among the people, I have begun to see that I almost forgot my motto in life - “There is ALWAYS a way”. So I reminded myself of that, wiped myself off and moved forward. Really, I have come quite a ways and am sitting at the crossroads. Here is where I start to climb and excel guys!!
So, I don’t know what to do, other than to push to the front of the line and take a firm stance and say this:
I have been learning, implementing, networking, and helping for quite a while now and there are no more excuses… here are the things I know how to do and what I am good at doing… PLEASE consider hiring me or pass on to your friends that I am available!!
Online Experience
Put up and design websites
Writing - anything (good writer)
Internet research
Put up and design MySpace, Facebook, Squidoo Lenses
Social bookmarking
Set up, design and use WordPress
Professional Experience
Excel spreadsheets, interactive forms, charts and more
PowerPoint presentations
Access database programming - This is very time consuming and not a good solution for me at this point in time as I need to make money immediately.
I am willing to discuss any legitimate task

P.S. This is the hardest post I’ve written… but the words came much easier. ![]()

Network Your Way To Six-Figure Success

Network Your Way To Six-Figure Success!
by Heather Juma
If you’re like most women you don’t like the thought of going to a networking event. Do you realize that networking is one of the most effective and least expensive ways to build your business?
And when done properly networking can actually be fun. If you follow the tips below, soon you’ll be networking with grace and ease, and you’ll be a “natural” networker.
1.) It’s not about you! Yes, everyone else at the event is probably nervous and shy too. So you’ll want to take the lead and start introducing yourself to others and then start introducing people that you’ve just met to the people you just met prior to them. Everyone will view you as a leader in the group.
2.) It is about everyone else. Studies have shown that people rate the highest in popularity by others when they spend very little time talking about themselves and spend the majority of the time asking others questions and listening to them talk about themselves. So spend most of your time listening instead of talking … that takes some of the pressure off doesn’t it?
3.) Be an actress. People are attracted to other people with high energy, everyone will be attracted to you if you have a warm and friendly manner, a nice smile and lots of enthusiasm.
4.) Have good manners. Always follow up the next day. If you’re using email, send a note with an article of interest or a referrral. And whenever you see something that might be of interest to them, send it to them. This will help keep you “fresh” in their mind and establish you as a great resource. Make the effort to”reconnect” once a month in a friendly, “just keeping in touch” sort of way.
5.) Be of service. Always ask what you can do to assist them and then if possible help them out and if you can’t help them perhaps you know someone that can, give them a referral.
If you attend networking events regularly (consistency is key) and you follow the tips provided above you will stand out in the networking crowd. Networking should not be an afterthought, networking should be a strategy that is part of your marketing and PR campaign, so make sure to put those networking dates on your marketing calendar… and take plenty of business cards.

Mamma Mia!
August 4, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
I went to see “Mamma Mia” the other night.
I had a blast! This must be a chickflick because the theater was
full of women! (NOTE: always, always take business cards)
This movie was so much fun to watch and I’d have to say that was the general impression in the entire theatre I was at. The audience was laughing, singing, clapping and dancing in their seats!
Meryl Streep and the rest of the cast were absolutely wonderful, and listening to Pierce Brosnan sing was hilarious.
The gals in the movie were like so many of us: single women and single
moms out in the world doing the best we can and living life on our own
terms! That’s what is so cool about being a woman entrepreneur, we
get to create the life we want! And just like Donna in “Mamma Mia”
when life hands us lemons we make lemonade!
“Mamma Mia” is the collaborative effort of three women (writer, screenwriter and producer).
Since making it’s musical premiere in London in 1999, the show has earned $2 billion dollars!
This is a perfect example of masterminding ladies!
Notes From The Universe
August 4, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
Notes From The Universe by Mike Dooley is a must have book if you’re on the path of enlightenment or if you’re a student of the Univeral Laws.
This little book is refreshing, fun, uplifting, inspiring and most importantly, you will learn amazing lessons about life!
Mike Dooley has found a way to teach us about the Universe in a light, fun, humorous way. I actually smile and laugh aloud when I read this little gem.
What happens to me when I read this book is I’ll have a question on my mind, I’ll randomly open a page from this book and there is the answer! I’ve had so many a-ha moments while reading this book.
This book is so cool as is Mike Dooley himself. Check him out at Mike Dooley his website is even fun and cool!
Start a Wealth Account
August 4, 2008 · Written by Heather Juma
Have you ever taken the time to think about how you feel about money? The answers may astound you!
What is always on your mind… thoughts of prosperity or thoughts of all those bills you just can’t pay?
If you’re like most women these days, you’re thoughts are on rising gas prices, rising grocery bills, everything’s rising except your salary.
This type of thinking leads to an endless cycle of worry and feeling you just don’t have any hope for wealth in the future.
So what’s a girl to do? Start saving money, open a Wealth Account. “What!”, you say, “I don’t have money to pay my bills and you want me to save?”
Yes, that’s exactly what I want you to do. Even if it’s a few dollars a week, start a Wealth Account (call it this instead of a savings account), you’re developing the habit and you’ll start feeling wealthier. Make sure not to spend this money however, or you’ll start feeling negative and hopeless again.
If you save $50 a month by the end of the year you’ll have over $600.00. Jump your savings up to $100 a month and soon you’ll have $1200 in your savings account. This may not seem like much but I explained that it’s the habit you’re developing. Soon you’re going to start thinking of ways to add more money each month to your wealth account. You’ll even begin to notice a change in your spending habits.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly your Wealth Account will grow once you’ve developed this little “habit”. You’ll even notice that you have a different attitude about money as well, you’ll have thoughts of prosperity and abundance and we know what that means… the Universe must answer!
So here’s a little hint for you, there is a financial institution that actually wants you to save money and build wealth! They offer no fees, no service charges, no minimums, higher interest rates and they are FDIC insured, they have too many perks to list!
They also provide helpful tools and tips such as: checklists, worksheets, calculators, articles and reources to help you “learn” how to save, invest and manage your money, what other bank is doing that for you?
Check them out, also take the time to watch the video and see what their corporate culture is, this is a very interesting business model that makes sense especially in today’s economy.
